Song Hong Aluminum Joint Stock Company – Shalumi successfully organized The annual General Meetings of Shareholders in 2021

In June 24^th 2021 at the hall of Song Hong Aluminum Joint Stock Company in Hong Ha Street, Ben Got Ward, Viet Tri City, the company organized The annual General Meetings of Shareholders in 2021. Attending the meetings were members of the Board of Directors and 119 shareholders, legally authorized people representing for 13.379.802 shares corresponding with 64.66% of the total shares having the rights to attend the meetings.

In the meetings, shareholders were heard reports including: Performance of the Board of Directors (BOD) in 2020 and operation plan in 2021, Performance of the Board of Supervisors in 2020, Propose the selection of audit firm as the auditor for the financial statements in 2021, Remuneration plan for the members of the BOD and the Board of supervisors in 2021, Amendment of charter and regulations; to promulgate the internal rules and regulations, the operation regulations of the BOD and the board of supervisors .

In 2020, the occurrence of covid-19 pandemic has affected to many aspects of economic and social life, making the production and business of the company face many difficulties. However, with the determination and solidarity of the leaders as well as the effort of all emloyees, Shalumi has got remarkable results. The profit after tax increased by 128% compared to 2019, the average’ employee salary increased by 50% compared to 2019. The employees have able to stabilize their jobs and ensure income.

On behalf of the BOD, Mrs Pham Thi Quynh Thu – Chairman has recognized and appreciated the determination, efforts of the leaders, the BOD, Shalumi employees along with the companions and shares of the shareholders which have overcome difficulties, challenges in 2020, striving to complete the targets of production and business plan in 2021.
The meeting agreed to approve the financial report targets, the profits distribution plan; promulgated the rules and regulations of the BOD and the board of supervisors to comply with the provisions of law.
